Hi Valeria. There are so many people who had to quit their jobs due to schools closing. Because of this, they have now lost half of their income. To make matters worse, there is that looming question if whether that job will still be available once the pandemic subsides. The feeling of uncertainty can be so mentally, physically and emotionally devastating to so many families. So many people want to get back to work, but the question is- at what expense? You did a great job! -Carrie Steinolfson
ReplyDeleteHey Valeria,
ReplyDeleteI am very disappointed in the people who don't wear face masks and ridicule the seriousness of this pandemic. President Trump refused to wear a face mask while touring the factory of General Motors, even though their policy includes the mandatory wearing of face masks. If our own president doesn't lead by example, I'm no surprised that Americans don't believe this is a real crisis. Just to stay on the safe side, we should continue to wear our face masks not to protect ourselves, but others! Why risk the continued spread of the virus when we can easily slow the spread with something as simple as covering our face?
Hey Valeria, I enjoyed reading and learning about the local opportunities that you discovered. I really liked reading about your second opportunity, the one about Epcot becoming one of Disney's biggest coronavirus headaches. One of the opportunities I listed had to deal with Disney, and other theme parks starting to open back up. There definitely is some concern about parks that hold that many people opening up, but the opportunity does exist.
